Tragedy Strikes: Rocks Fall on Car in Sichuan, Killing Three

Beijing, July 9, 2024 - Oh man, you guys heard about that terrible thing that happened in Sichuan? So, on Monday night, a bunch of rocks came tumbling down a mountain and totally wrecked a sedan on the S204 highway near Bazhong City. It's just, like, so sad.

This all went down around 7:30 p.m. local time, and it was totally unexpected. The poor people in the car didn't see it coming at all. The rocks just smashed into them, and it didn't end well for three of them. The car got totally crushed.

The cops in Tongjiang County said, "The sedan got hit by rocks, and three people inside didn't make it." It's just terrible, right?

But, there's some good news, kinda. Two other people who were in the car got hurt, but their injuries aren't gonna kill them. They're being taken care of at a hospital close by.

Now, everyone's trying to figure out what the heck happened. They're looking into it big time, because we can't have rocks just randomly falling on cars, you know? They're also trying to make sure this doesn't happen again, especially on roads like that one where the mountains are all steep and stuff.
