Top-Ranked Michigan Hooper Sets Sights on Ann Arbor

Hey folks, I just heard some juicy goss from the basketball world! So, the big shot high school player from Michigan, Trey McKenney, is heading to Ann Arbor for an official visit with the Michigan basketball team! This kid's from West Bloomfield, and he's been absolutely killin' it at St. Mary's Prep. Standing at a cool 6-foot-4, Trey is a total five-star player, ranked 16th in the whole country for the class of 2025. He's also the third-best shooting guard out there and, obviously, the number one pick from his home state.

Before deciding to check out the Wolverines, Trey's been playing the field a bit, making trips to other big-name schools like Michigan State, Notre Dame, Oregon, USC, and Creighton. Talk about keeping everyone on their toes!

You should've seen him last season - it was like watching a highlight reel every night! Trey and his St. Mary's squad had a killer year, finishing up 27-1, and snagging a state championship. This guy was a beast on the court, averaging 22.8 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 3.3 assists a game. And let's not forget his show-stopping performance in the state finals, where he dropped 32 points and pulled down 10 boards. Insane, right?

So, as Trey gets ready to hit up Ann Arbor for his big visit, all us Michigan basketball fans are sitting on the edge of our seats. We're all hoping he'll pick the Wolverines and keep tearing it up on the college scene. Fingers crossed!
