• Canberra: The capital city will endure a number of days in excess of 30°C, peaking at 33°C towards the end of the week.
• Sydney: Warmest day of the week will be 32°C on Friday, with the western suburbs to face nearly 40°C.
• Birdsville (QLD): One of the hottest regions, with temperatures forecast between 43°C and 46°C in the coming seven days.
