Second 'Gilbert Goon' Person Suspected in Preston Lord's Death Gets Out of Jail Because Someone Lowered Their Bond, Which Has People Talking

So, get this, Taylor Sherman, who's like the second person they think might've had something to do with the murder of that kid Preston Lord, he's out of jail now. His folks managed to cough up the cash for a bond that got slashed from a huge $1 million to a still pretty big $250,000. This whole thing's been a rollercoaster in the 'burbs of Phoenix, right? Preston was just 16 when he got killed outside some party in Queen Creek, and now we've got seven dudes being looked at for it.

Sherman's lawyer, this guy Joseph Tobler, said the original bond was totally unfair, like, way too much for regular folks to handle. Plus, he swears up and down that Sherman isn't part of that scary gang, the Gilbert Goons, who've been causing all sorts of trouble around there. Apparently, not being in a gang is a big deal when they're deciding if you're a risk to bail out.

Tobler's take is that Sherman was just there when it happened but didn't actually do the dirty work. And since he's not one of those Gilbert Goon members, he's not likely to go off the rails again. Now, not everyone's happy about this. Some people think it's messed up that someone linked to such a nasty crime is out on the streets.

This whole situation's got everyone talking about justice and whether we're all safe in our cozy neighborhoods. The community's still trying to heal from this tragedy, and now they're worried about the other guys who were there. The whole thing's a sad reminder that bad stuff can happen anywhere, and it's messy when the law gets involved. People just want the truth and for Preston's family to get some peace. The cops are still working on it, though, so hopefully, we'll get some answers soon.
