Russian Missiles Hit Kyiv Hospital and Leave 10 Dead in Kryvyi Rih

In a really intense turn of events, Russian missiles slammed into a kids' hospital in Kyiv and took out at least ten folks in another attack on the central Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih on a Monday. This is the worst Kyiv's seen in a few months, showing that this whole war situation isn't letting up at all.

They used some of their fanciest missiles called Kinzhal, which zip around at like, ten times the speed of sound. The Ukrainian air force says it's pretty much pointless to try and stop these things because they're that fast. The explosions rocked Kyiv, making buildings wobble and causing chaos everywhere.

Zelensky, Ukraine's president, said that the Russians threw over 40 missiles at five different cities, smashing up apartment buildings and stuff people use every day. Kryvyi Rih got it really bad with ten people not making it and 31 hurt.

And get this, a children's hospital in Kyiv got hit too. It's the biggest place in the country for treating sick kids. We don't know how many got hurt there yet, but it's just a terrible, terrible thing. Some missile parts fell in Kyiv too, starting fires and making the air thick with smoke.

Andrei Yermak, who's a big deal in Ukraine's presidential office, said that the attack happened when everyone was out and about. The mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, is still trying to figure out how bad everything is.

There were explosions in Dnipropetrovsk too, so it's not just Kyiv dealing with this mess.

This all happens right before this super important three-day NATO meeting in Washington. The meeting is supposed to tell Ukraine that everyone's still got their back and to maybe figure out a way to end all this fighting.

Everyone's watching what happens now, and how Ukraine and the big wigs around the world react is going to be huge for what happens next in this messed up situation. The Ukrainian people are so strong, but we really need some diplomats to step up and do their thing.
