Rescuers in Nepal Keep Looking for 66 People Lost in Terrible Landslide

People who help in Nepal are working really hard to find 66 folks who are still missing after a big ol' landslide happened on Friday morning. This sad event was because of a ton of rain that made the ground go crazy and two buses with more than 60 people inside get swept away into the really full Trishuli River.

They're using big machines to move a bunch of mess out of the way so they can look better. The big boss of Chitwan, Indradev Yadav, said that one bus was going to Kathmandu and the other to Gaur in Rautahat. The landslide was so strong it broke through concrete walls and the buses ended up at the bottom of a super steep hill, like in a riverbed, because of the river.

This all went down at 3:30 AM, which is when most of us are still sleeping. The water in the river was really muddy and it was hard to see anything because of the rain, so it's been tough for everyone trying to help.

Mr. Yadav said, "We're not giving up, we're gonna search everywhere we can think of." That's the spirit! And the good news is, the weather is starting to get better, so maybe they'll find something soon.

So keep your eyes peeled for more news on this sad story that's still happening.

Things to remember: Nepal had a bad landslide, Trishuli River is in the middle of it, lots of people are missing, it's all because of heavy rain, and rescue teams are trying their best.
