Israeli Attack Takes Out Top Hezbollah Leader in Southern Lebanon
Beirut's the place where things are heating up again, folks. On Wednesday, an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon sadly ended the life of a big-wig Hezbollah commander, a guy they called Mohammad Naameh Nasser, or "Abu Naameh" to his buddies. This dude was a big deal, running Hezbollah's Aziz Unit, which is like one of their main groups down there.
Now, this all goes down while everyone's trying to play nice and keep the peace. Diplomats from all over have been working like crazy to stop these two from going full-on war mode and getting everyone else in the neighborhood involved. The second-in-command of Hezbollah, Sheikh Naim Kassem, basically said in an interview that they're not stopping until something gives in Gaza.
