India Rout South Africa by 10 Wickets to Level T20I Series

Chandigarh: India totally crushed South Africa in the third T20I, winning by a whopping 10 wickets and tying the series at 1-1. This big win is a real confidence booster for the team, especially with the T20 Asia Cup coming up in Sri Lanka.

After getting beat in the first match in Chennai, India came back strong when the second game got rained out. South Africa's had a rough go of it on their 24-day trip to India, only managing one win so far. Now, they've got to switch gears and get ready for the T20 World Cup in Bangladesh happening in October.

The Indian bowlers really stepped up their game in the third match. They had a tough time in the first two games where South Africa scored 189/4 and 177/6, but this time they nailed it. Pooja Vastrakar, a medium-pacer, was the star with a fantastic 4/13. Radha Yadav, a left-arm spinner, also did great with 3/6. They didn't let South Africa get comfortable and only gave them 84 runs in 17.1 overs.

Tazmin Brits (20) and Anneke Bosch (17) tried their best to keep South Africa in the game, but it just wasn't enough. When Marizanne Kapp hit a couple of fours, it looked like they might have a chance, but then she got out to Vastrakar and the whole team collapsed. They couldn't even make it to 100 and ended up all out for 84.

India's turn to bat was basically a walk in the park. They hit the target without losing a single wicket in just 10.5 overs. Smriti Mandhana totally rocked it with an unbeaten 54 off 40 balls, ending the match with a huge six. Shafali Verma also played really well, scoring 27 off 25 balls. The two openers didn't give the South African bowlers any room to breathe.

This win is huge for India. It shows that they're a force to be reckoned with and it's a great sign for the upcoming tournaments. The bowlers playing so well is definitely a good thing for their future games.
