The charges were for human trafficking, but the court found them guilty of something called "usury." Apparently, they brought domestic workers from India to work at their Swiss pad and then took their passports away, which is illegal and made it impossible for them to leave or find better jobs. That's not cool, man.
The four Hindujas in question are Prakash (78), Kamal (75), Ajay (56), and Namrata (50). They were all sentenced to prison terms ranging from four years and six months to four years each. The sentences are meant to send a message that everyone's got to play by the rules, even when you're rolling in dough.
